Hi. I am Angelo.

Energy. Creativity. Movement.

I have built multiple successful companies with an unrelenting focus on creating healthy and happy teams of humans. My most recent success story is Kion.

I started Kion in 2017 in Boulder, Colorado, with the dream of building the healthiest, most inspiring work culture at the heart of a fast-growth, consumer products company that would be focused on motivating customers to go further on their personal health journey. The results have been astounding. Since 2017, Kion has developed many of the highest-possible quality supplements on the market and cultivated an incredibly passionate team.

Angelo Speaking

I want to help others live their most fun, active and creative lives.

If I had to describe myself in five sentences, I would say…

  1. I am passionate about staying in motion, creating momentum, living the most fulfilling life, and helping others do the same.

  2. I hold family, health, and growth as my top three values.

  3. I thrive in creative, driven cultures that expect tightly managed timelines and welcome spontaneous vocal jams.

  4. I believe the underlying culture of a group and the emotional experience of the individuals within it guides most interactions.

  5. I enjoy far-out brainstorming followed by clear action lists, detailed planning, and execution.

I’m definitely eclectic. I border on eccentric.

I was born in Austin, Texas into an eccentric, hippy family. We were weird, but my parents were ahead of their time when it came to their understanding of health and nutrition. They owned a health food store, and I was raised on a foundation of organic, mostly vegetarian, whole food ingredients, and an array of daily supplements (not surprisingly, essential amino acids being the most important).

I had a series of traumatic accidents in my adolescence and early adulthood— I was stabbed and nearly beaten to death when I was 16, left home and became independent at 17, and then was involved in a deadly bus accident in the foothills of the Himalayas at 21—that all kickstarted my own, more personal health journey. I dove headfirst into nutrition research, meditation, yoga, breathwork, cold and heat therapy, acupuncture, psychotherapy, and religious studies.

My journey led me to study multiple languages, develop an international career in Europe and India, and ultimately found Kion.

I am relentlessly oriented to creativity, fun, and execution. And I love to help organizations, teams, and individuals grow. I believe that the work we are doing at Kion is helping our employees and customers live healthier, happier, more active lives.

My wife and two children are the highlight of my life. I experience the most fun and fulfillment being with them.

I’m also a multi-instrumentalist and love to make music with unique variations of vocals, drums, piano, and guitar.
